As a first time student attending a FOOLS weekend I cannot express enough gratitude to the instructor's for teaching me some new things that I will surely use in the future. I must also commend Chief Spano from Elizabeth for opening his heart in front of all of us and sharing that tragic experience so we might be able to learn something from it, I only wish a few more people from my station could have heard it so they could only see what a true leader is. I look forward to another weekend but until then stay safe brother's and sister's

To all of the Jersey Brothers and Sisters, Wow! What a weekend! Just wanted to say thanks for the invite to participate. Bill, Aaron, Tommy and Art I now fully understand where the core of intrinsic values for the fire service starts. It is in the Garden State. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with such motivated students, a tremendous support staff from Groveville, New Egypt and surrounding communities to make this all work. It is the people behind the scenes that really make these events work and thanks. You surround yourself with great people (even Sippy) and I am honored to be part of your family. We had a great ride home and most of our conversation revolved around how much fun we had, lessons learned and how we can be better instructors the next time we teach. Ray, Timmy, Bart, Olde Mike, Rusty, Bean, Dana, Greg, Lorna, Sipstah, and all the gang; it was great to be with you all again and look forward to the next one. Be Safe, Stay Low and Look forward to seeing you again either in Indy or Convention. Respectfully, PJ Johnson NEFOOLS

After a day of detox due to my dear firend Mr. Jameson causing me to retox, a few thoughts on the weekend. Thanks so much to the New England FOOLS led by Rusty Ricker. You bailed us out and because of that we had the opportunity to hit a long home run! We were fortunate enough to combine some die hard students who wanted to learn and share the knowledge with the best instructors around. What a great thing to do. I know these students want it when I thanked one for being here and said I realize you could be doing other things this weekend and he replied "Why would I want to?" That's when you know things are right. We all owe a big tip of the lid to Bill Hopson for his vision on this weekend. It's always great when you can hang out and learn our craft from the likes of Old Mike Clark, Tim Klett, Ray McCormack, Bart Simpson, Tom Decker, Adam Bean, Art Bloomer, PJ Johnson, and Greg Bolduc. The support staff of Sippy Biron, Bill BiMeo. Dana Potter, Mike Cowell, Christie Potter, and the NEFAS crew of Amy Briggs, Chris Bruno, and Dave Rogers kept us safe and on track. Thank You. A special thanks to Chief Antozzeski and the crew of HTFD Engine 19 Fred Taylor, Dave Wilbur, Jay Benjamin, and Joe Muzzillo who provided us the equipment and the location to get all this done. And finally we owe a huge debt of gratitude to the owners of Hamilton Honda for providin us the acquired buildings. Thanks to Jesse Armstead and Mike and Phil Saporito. We appreciate it.
