It is with deep sadness that we send our condolences to the Trenton Fire Department and the family of FF Manny Rivera who was injured in the line of duty last month and succumbed to his injuries last night.
Arrangements are as follows:
Viewing - Friday 04/03/2009 from 1500-2100hrs @ St Mary’s Cathedral, 151 N. Warren St., Trenton, NJ.
Services- Saturday 04/04/2009 @ 1000hrs, St Mary’s Cathedral.

If you organize it! They will come. Bill Hopson and Aaron Heller initiated this great weekend and they came from New Jersey, Maine,Florida,Pennsylvania,Massachusetts,New York and a few I may have missed. To the students-I hope we met your expectations. To the instructors- I 'am humbled by the chance to work with such a great group. To all the support staff- this doesn't happen without all of you. Thanks to all. I look forward to the next one! Toga! Toga! Toga!

After attending my first F.O.O.L.S event, WOW. I am glad to be a member of such an ecstatic group of firefighters. The training we received was Great, the instructors were unbelievable, and the hospitality was over the top. THANKS cant wait for the next training event.

Congratulations on an outstanding weekend of training, and brotherhood. The respect I was shown by the instructors, and participants prove that the Jersey FOOLS are the real deal. Nowhere else have I experienced an event where professionals from all areas of the fire service, with various experience levels have gathered for training, and camaraderie with a common goal. I will follow your lead and share the knowledge as much as I can. Thanks for a great experience, stay safe.
